The second book in the novellas (which give backgrounds on supporting characters), Lenobia's Vow, is currently set to be released January 31, 2012. The ninth book in the series, Destined, was released on October 25, 2011. In 2008, plans for a film adaptation were also announced. The series, which is published by St Martin's Press is planned to include twelve books.
Awakened, released in January, 2011, also entered the list at #1. īurned was released on April 27, 2010, and like Tempted, it entered the USA Today bestseller list that week at #1. The series has so far sold more than ten million books in 39 countries.

The sixth novel, Tempted, which went on sale on Octowith a first printing of a million copies, entered the USA Today bestseller list that week at #1.
